Trading cards for charity-

I did some trading cards for a charity that benefits the American Cancer Society. Comics 2 Games will be hosting an auction of original trading cards on the 4th of April.

it was a chance to do something different, and after a very frustrating week where my work felt like it was coming out of me like mollases in Antarctica , so it felt good to be able to cut loose with some quick sketches for a good cause.

Preview for Wolverine: first Class #12!

Hey guys, the preview for Wolverine: First Class is up, so I'll post a few of the pages here! The book itself comes out on Wednesday, February 25th. The next issue of Wolverine: First Class that I'm drawing is issue #15 and is written by Peter David!

So - where's Tripp?

Thank god she's not vice president.

Getting close to posting the entirety of Legends of the Eight Immortals -

I think I'm going to get it all prepped first and then run it beginning in March, so it can be all in one month. Matt's comments will be there (once he does them), as well as extra designs and such. I might run the bios of the Immortals first.

Marvel's May solicits are out-

Kitty Pryde’s got a crush, and she’s depending on Wolvie to help her get the hook-up. But what can she really expect him to do when that crush is THOR?

gurk-

Felt very swamped the past few days, so i haven't posted anything. Blew my shoulder out somehow, so i've got it covered in heating pads. the perils of drawing 24/7/365/32+years.

"Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds" seems to have gotten a positive response, so I'm grateful it was received well.

I've been slugging away drawing Wolverine: First Class and a few pages of Dr. Doom and the Masters of Evil.

The first issue I did of Wolverine:First Class (#12) will hit the stands in about 10 days and I'll post some art when they upload the preview to the fan-sites in a week. I hope everyone enjoys it. Fred did an excellent job with the scrit and the colorist worked his patootie off. The schedule skips ahead for me to issue 15, which I'm currently working on this month. Lots of fun stuff in that issue, the excellent and talented Peter David is writing it. Lots of neat Kitty and Logan interaction- clearly Peter has a daughter, as do I, so it's great to see where he goes with it. The solicits for that'll be up in a few days.

Violet is wearing her tap shoes, a christmas dress and pink pants. She is currently tap dancing while watching "Handy Manny".

Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds #3-

Here's the previews from Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds, due out on the stands this Wednesday- very exciting, the future being made. If you look on the signs in the backgrounds of the double page spread you'll see I snuck some names in interlac of previous creators on the Legion, such as Al Plastino, Curt Swan, Hamilton and "Klein Motors". I love adding stuff like that to this book. I also added in an update on the Bismol stock exchange - it's down quite a bit, I inked this thing when the stock market crashed this past fall. Good times.

The Legends of the Eight Immortals!

Hello gang-

i had some fun this week, not just the drudgery of work - went to the comic dinner hosted by David Seidman and enjoyed myself there very much, and went to the christmas tree burning that Rob Tokar sets up and had a good time there as well.

I'm going to post the second half of the SK8 flip comic - the Legends of The Eight Immortals in a week or two. I'm going to get Matt's note on the book first and then set everything up. It'll run a page a day for a few weeks, same deal as SK8, I'll post extras and character bios and stuff too.

Final Crisis: Legion of Three worlds #3 will be coming out on Wednesday, I hope everyone likes it - that one has it all, it even, I kid you not, HAS THE KITCHEN SINK in it. Yep, this one's got it all. And it's out in time for the NY Comic Con, so I'm sure Geoff and George are happy they won't be lynched at the con.
